Waste Less Malta – Small Actions, Big Change

Waste Less Malta – Small Actions, Big Change is a community initiative aimed at encouraging people to reduce waste and give unwanted items a second life.

The action will focus on rethinking consumption, reducing waste, reusing and repurposing, with particular attention to clothing, footwear, books, toys and reusable household items.

Participants will be encouraged to bring clean and usable items they no longer need and swap, exchange or donate them instead of throwing them away. The initiative will also raise awareness about simple everyday choices, such as avoiding unnecessary purchases and packaging, choosing reusable products, repairing items where possible and recycling correctly.

The aim is to demonstrate that small individual actions can collectively make a big difference, helping to reduce waste, conserve resources and promote a more sustainable and circular way of living in Malta.
