During the 13th edition of the edition of European Week for Waste Reduction, over 12,400 actions related to waste reduction, sharing economy, products reuse and repair, materials recycling, as well as clean-ups were carried out across 30 countries in Europe and beyond.

We are very happy to announce that, after two editions in online format, this year we will have a face-to-face Awards Ceremony to reward the most EWWR2021 outstanding actions. Coordinators, action developers, and those interested in the EWWR will meet on 9 June 2022 from 17:30 to 19:30 CET at the BEL building in Brussels to celebrate the EWWR and its participants. It will also be possible to follow the event online.

The jury members, comprising European professionals working in the environmental sector, are in the process of selecting finalists and winners among the many inspiring EWWR actions implemented in November 2021! Follow our social networks as we will soon announce the finalists, introduce you to the jury members and open registrations for the Awards Ceremony.
