Life Cycle – Science On The Spot
INFO [what will be done]
Description:
Explore the life cycle of everyday materials and discover that some products we consider sustainable or renewable may have a more complex environmental impact. Participants examine items such as paper cups and electric car components at different stages of their life cycle, from production and use to disposal and decomposition. By comparing how long different materials take to break down, the activity encourages participants to think critically about the resources used and the true environmental impact of everyday products. Follow the journey of different types of waste and discover what happens to them once they leave our homes.
