Environmental Clean-Up Along the Ticino River

An afternoon dedicated to protecting the Ticino River and its banks, offering an opportunity to take concrete action against littering and environmental pollution.

As part of the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) 2026, OSA – Office for Sustainable Actions of the University of Pavia, together with Plastic Free, invites the university community and local residents to take part in a clean-up activity along the river.

The initiative aims to raise awareness of the impact of litter on river ecosystems while encouraging active participation in protecting the local environment.

An opportunity to help preserve one of Pavia’s most iconic natural landmarks and demonstrate how collective action can make a difference.
