The selection at regional level was based on the criteria defined by the jury of the European Awards: visibility and communicational aspects; quality of content; originality and exemplarity; lasting impact &amp; follow-up.<\/p>\n<p>The nominees presented by the ARC in the different categories are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Public administration category<\/strong>: <em>Badalona City Council<\/em>, with the &#8220;De l\u2019oli a la pica, ni mica&#8221; campaign. It is a proposal to raise public awareness of the impact of mismanagement of domestic oil, increase the amount of oil recycled and improve the network of supply points.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Association category<\/strong>: the <em>Education Platform<\/em>, made up of eleven entities, has promoted the @mbientalMents campaign to raise awareness about environmental issues, including the fight against food waste.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Educational establishment category<\/strong>: <em>Sant R\u00f2c School<\/em>, with the multilingual communication project &#8220;Mission 5R&#8221; to reduce waste mountains!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Business category<\/strong>: <em>M\u00fatua de Terrassa<\/em> presents its Green Commitment, with the premise that healing health must go hand in hand with caring for the environment.<\/li>\n<li>Regarding the <strong>European Special Prize<\/strong>,\u00a0 ARC presents the <em>Sant Josep de Nav\u00e0s school<\/em> with schools from France, Romania, India, Turkey, Tunisia and Portugal, and the project &#8220;Every action matters&#8221;, to involve and raise awareness students who need to act to achieve more sustainable local communities from small actions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Read the full article on <a href=\"https:\/\/residus.gencat.cat\/ca\/actualitat\/noticies\/detall\/np_candidatures_arc_premi_eu_prevencio_2021\">ARC\u2019s website.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Will one of these actions be the winner of the EWWR Awards?
