Nearly 100 kg of fruits and vegetables were saved using potassium soap (from recycled oil) and natural fertilizers.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-94162 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/ewwr.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Untitled-300x178.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"219\" height=\"130\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ewwr.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Untitled-300x178.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ewwr.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Untitled-1024x607.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/ewwr.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Untitled-550x326.jpg 550w, https:\/\/ewwr.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Untitled.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 219px) 100vw, 219px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><em><strong>Recirculating Magaya<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em><\/span>implemented by Ies Escultor Juande Villanueva, in Siero.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Focusing on food waste, students explored new uses for <em data-start=\"414\" data-end=\"422\">magaya<\/em>\u2014apple pulp left over from traditional cider making in Asturias. Once used as animal feed, it\u2019s now often discarded due to declining farming.
