On Friday, 26 November 2021, MOS organises the second edition of #MissieMinder (#MissionLess), an action day for schools which introduces pupils to the ‘Pyraminder’ (“Buyerarchy Of Needs”).
Every year, a different theme is put in the spotlight. In 2020, the theme was food loss. In 2021, we will tackle the single-use plastics (SUPs). A lot of single-use plastics do not end up in the recycling or waste stream, but end up in nature or contribute to the plastic soup. We want to do something about this! Will you join us on #MissieMinder? It is no coincidence that #MissieMinder takes place on Black Friday…
Pira the rat is the “face” of #MissionMinder. For the youngest children, a short story is offered to introduce the action to them.
