The Department of Environment organizes the action “I cook and do not throw”.
In this context, the Department of the Environment, invites all cooking/pastry schools (public and private), TV cooking shows, as well as restaurant, hotels that are interested to include the action as part of their teaching program, their TV show programs and their menus respectively, to reduce food waste, starting from the week of 21/11/2020 – 29/11/2020.
The Department of the Environment suggests cooking/pastry schools to include as part of the school curriculum, cooking courses about how to use leftover foods to creating new dishes. Similarly, this action can be implemented and promoted through the cooking / pastry broadcasting of televisions as well as from restaurants and hotels. These new dishes could have a lower charge.
