As the end of a intensive Theater Course conducted by actress Chiara Pautasso, young boys and girls will present their short show to an audience.
Peculiar in this show is the use of reusable material: everything on the stage, from actors clothes, to stage objects including the full scenography is made from material taken from the RecuperARTI Creative Reuse Center. In the Center, surplus material from local industries and houses is collected and therefore diverted from the waste stream. Through Creative Reuse, Sustainability meets the Arts.
Through this project many materials got reused by the young participants to the program with the support and guidance of the artist Maurizio Scabola, making the economy a little more circular. Also, it helped the young actors to rethink the way they look at materials and waste.
Presenting their work to their family and the community during the European Week for Waste Reduction, they will share the learned message and will contribuite to the creation of a circular community.
