Waste & Recycling – WRI Europe

Info

WHAT will be done

Description:

At the World Resources Institute we like promoting sustainable habits in our staff, and as part of our efforts to reduce waste, recycle and create a sustainability mindset in the London, UK office we are organising two initiatives.
  1. Clothing donations – Employees will bring their ‘once loved clothes’ that are in good shape to go for a second home. We will collect all donations and donate to a selected charities.
  2. Electrical waste/recycling – Employees will bring their unused cables and broken tech items for recycling. Copper is a vital resource in the UK’s push to decarbonise the economy, by recycling old cables, households across the UK could help significantly reduce this gap.
We will open both initiatives on the 18th November but leave ‘the shop’ open all week.
