For several years now the Environmental Education Outreach Team have administered a sustainable period product scheme for residents. Partnering with Hey Girls! we offer a free menstrual cup or pack of washable bamboo pads to residents in the city. This offers people the opportunity to try out a waste-free way to manage their period, and saves money too. The scheme has been very successful and we promote it at community outreach events and on our social media.
