The 31st Mosta Girl Guides will be making a compost bin with  scraps of food during a family day which will be held on 23 November 2024 at Milbrae Grove, Mosta.

This will involve all sections at the 31st Mosta Girl Guides (dolphins, brownies, guides, rangers, senior rangers and leaders amounting to 150 members) as well as their family members. The compost bin shall be given to an entity involved in tree planting. By means of this action the 31st Mosta Girl Guides aim to instil a sense of responsibility towards recycling / reusing (in this case making good use of organic waste) whilst also encouraging more tree planting around the island.
