The action is a day long fair including:

1. workshops and information stand on composting and reduction of food waste by Friends of the Earth.

2. A ‘bring your own cup’ coffee and water station manned by ALC using refillable water dispensers and fair trade coffee to increase awareness about reduction of disposable waste.
3. A display of books for both adults and children related to the environment, waste reduction and reducing food waste which can be borrowed for browsing during the event, and which will remain available at the education, information and cultural centre – manned by ALC.
4. Read with me sessions for children regarding plastic waste in Maltese. Books will be distributed to the first 10 children booking for the session.
5. Distribution of water tap attachments to reduce waste, provided by Water Be the Change
6. Information displays about reducing food waste and single use plastic in Maltese prepared by ALC. Displays will be used at the educational, information and cultural centre and other council premises after the event.
7. Thrift and swap shop.
