• WHAT will be done

Description:

CHS & SMC School Plan:
  • Document current initiatives: We will be highlighting the good initiatives we’re already taking and documenting progress and impact. This is alongside our school gardening club and this year’s school sustainability theme “planting seeds, growing futures”.
  • Composting: We will set up the worm bin at CHS and highlight the composting efforts we’ll be doing.
  • Class involvement: Each class teacher has been invited to participate for the week long activities. We will also be organizing some workshops for children during school time.
Lunch Box Challenge:
We will be challenging the school community with a lunch box challenge for the week.
Composting and Lunchbox Nutrition Workshop:
We will be hosting 2 parent-child workshops about composting at home and lunch box nutrition (with a low waste twist!).
SMC will also be updating their bin separation systems for better waste management.
